Belfast Harbour has announced that Marriott International has been selected as the new franchise owner of the first Marriott hotel in Northern Ireland. The hotel will be Marriott's first in Northern Ireland and will expand its portfolio of nearly 4,500 hotels in 87 countries and territories around the world. Today it was announced that the Marriott Hotel, which will become the second largest hotel chain in the United States and the third largest in Europe, will be under a new franchising agreement with the owner.
